About

I’m a freelance health writer and registered nurse with 6 years of experience working in community healthcare. I’ve cared for people at the end of their lives and people in crisis. I’ve worked with patients, families, GPs, and healthcare practitioners to advocate for better well-being for everyone. And I’ve witnessed the health challenges people face in their daily lives, and listened to their stories,

My career has covered a variety of settings, including a 24-hour care unit for the most vulnerable patients, a hospital prevention team dealing with healthcare crises, district nursing, and a rehabilitation centre.

Most recently, I’ve worked as a research nurse for the University of Oxford, coordinating several clinical trials specialising in respiratory disorders. As a freelance writer, I use my clinical experience to help organisations reach the people who need them the most. I work flexibly with clients to create content which resonates with readers, and speaks to the reality of their experience.
